This Is Water is a solo show by award-winning musician and playwright Rain Perry, looking to her own white family to tell a true story about America. The play, which premiered to rave reviews at the 2025 Hollywood Fringe Festival, combines personal reflections, family photos, meticulously researched historical documents, and original music into the funny, heartfelt, and unflinching tale of one white woman coming to terms with being a white woman in order to become a better person.
